Hello Everyone,

Since the last time we were together for BASCon 2011, the Con Committee took some time to think about whether or not we'd like to bring BASCon back. We gave ourselves a year and came together in December 2012. Though our hearts wanted to say "Yes" and move forward, the reality of changing lives and situations made the idea of mounting BASCon again at the level we ourselves had come to expect untenable.

So this is our final goodbye to you, our members and our friends, whether you came every year or came only once. BASCon became what it was because of your participation and enthusiasm and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything. Some years were tough and some were smooth and the faces on the Con Com changed just as our membership did. What remains, however, are a host of wonderful memories and the hope that we made the first weekend in November your home away from home. Sincerely, The BASCON Con Committee.
